Peer Group Organizer – Woodsville, NH – per diem 6-8 hours/month
Seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Woodsville Peer Group Organizer. Successful candidate will have solid oral and written communication skills and ability to organize and facilitate meetings. Position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating monthly Peer Group meetings for persons with disabilities consisting of education, information and discussion.
Duties include meeting planning & facilitation and outreach to persons with disabilities living in Woodsville and surrounding towns. Great opportunity to work with GSIL and share experiences, ideas and future opportunities. Persons with disabilities encouraged to apply.
This is a per diem position paying $7.75 to $8.50 per hour, depending on experience. Anticipate working 6 to 8 hours per month. For more information contact Pam Locke at 1-800-826-3700.
Lead Driver (30 hours per week)
Seeking a Lead Driver to supervise and train accessible transportation drivers, coordinate preventive maintenance functions and back-up Transportation Admin. for computerized scheduling and reporting functions. Requires: High School diploma or GED & minimum 2-years experience as driver in passenger transportation. Also, valid NH drivers’ license, clean driving record, and clean criminal background check. Must possess physical strength and agility to perform requirements of the job. Working knowledge of NH highway system preferred. Benefit eligible 30-hours per week. Rate of pay: $12.50 per hour.
